Free Company Guidelines – Give it to me
Welcome, Warrior of Light, to the beautiful mess that is Give it to me! We’re a group of adventurers, glamour connoisseurs, dungeon delvers, map farmers, and raid enthusiasts who thrive on chaos, laughter, and shiny loot. To keep our Free Company fun, welcoming, and just a little unhinged, here are our house rules:
1. Don’t Be a Butt (Unless It’s a Glam Choice)
Respect your fellow members. Banter, jokes, and sarcasm are part of our FC culture, but bullying, toxic behavior, or taking things too far will kill the mood faster than an unskippable cutscene. If you’re unsure if a joke is okay, err on the side of kindness.
2. Share the Good Stuff
Need help with roulettes, crafting, or just someone to admire your new glam? Ask away! Our FC is built on helping each other. At the same time, remember that this is Give it to me, not Take it all from me. Be generous when you can—drop mats in the chest, return the favor when others help you, and spread the wealth of knowledge (and gil, if you’re feeling spicy).
3. Free Company House Rules
Our house is everyone’s hangout spot. Feel free to chill, roleplay, or turn it into a personal photoshoot backdrop. Please don’t empty the FC chest for personal gain, spam random furniture everywhere, or lock the workshop down for your own projects. Think of it as a shared apartment—we want it cozy, not chaotic (unless the chaos is intentional).
4. Events, Shenanigans, and Chaos
We host regular and spontaneous events: treasure maps, mount farms, trial clears, raids, and social nights. Participation is encouraged, but never mandatory. Just remember that showing up prepared makes everything more fun—bring food, pots, and your best dance emotes. Have an event idea? Speak up! We love when members add to the madness.
5. Glamour is the True Endgame
Raids, crafting, gathering, and fishing are all great—but let’s be honest, glamour is what really matters. Show off your fits. Compliment other people’s looks. Rate your friends’ outfits like it’s the Manderville Fashion Report. A Free Company without fabulous glam is just a dungeon queue waiting room.
6. Questions Welcome, Always
Nobody is born knowing how to unlock glamour plates or survive mechanics without panic. If you’re confused about the MSQ, dungeons, or crafting systems, just ask. Our FC thrives on helping new and returning players. Even if your question feels small, we’d rather you ask than struggle in silence.
7. Drama-Free Zone
Leave the drama for Eorzean storylines. If you’ve got issues with another member, don’t blow up FC chat. Instead, talk privately with an officer so we can help resolve it. We want to keep the company fun and stress-free, not turn it into a bad reality show.
8. Fun Above All Else
We’re here to laugh, clear content, farm mounts, make memes, and maybe save Eorzea on the side. Play your way—hardcore raider, casual crafter, RP enjoyer, or professional AFKer—but play with the spirit of fun and community.
