📜 A Note Before the Rules…
We’re not running a dictatorship here — these aren’t laws carved into stone tablets (or written by some crusty old Lalafell council). They’re more like community guidelines: a recipe for keeping our Free Company fun, friendly, and free of unnecessary drama.
Think of it this way: follow these rules and you’ll thrive in our peach patch. Break them, and, well… you might find yourself plucked. 🍑
1. Respect is non-negotiable.
We’re here to have fun together. That means respecting other members, their identities, and their playstyles. Our FC is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly, and we don’t tolerate slurs, hate speech, or harassment of any kind. Treat everyone like a fellow adventurer — because that’s exactly what they are.
2. Real life always comes first.
We love seeing everyone online, but we get it — jobs, school, naps, and Netflix are important too. If you know you’ll be gone for a while, just give us a heads-up. Members who disappear for more than 45 days without notice may be removed to keep the roster active, but you’re always welcome back if you return.
3. Drama is not an Eorzean currency.
This is a chill zone. If you’ve got beef with someone, talk it out privately or with an officer — don’t turn FC chat into a soap opera. We want laughter, not theatrics.
4. Play your way.
Hardcore raider? Casual crafter? Housing designer? Screenshot goblin? Whatever your style, you belong here. Just remember: there’s no “wrong” way to play FFXIV (except forgetting to glamour).
5. Events are about memories, not meters.
When we run content, the goal is to have fun together. Wipes happen. Mistakes happen. We laugh, we learn, and we try again. If you’re looking for hardcore min-max perfectionism, this might not be your orchard.
6. Glamour is sacred.
Fashion is the true endgame. Show off your glam, hype up your fellow adventurers, and yes — we will lovingly roast that one questionable hat choice. It’s tradition.
7. Sharing is caring.
Our FC chest, buffs, and house are community spaces. Feel free to use them — just don’t be greedy. If you’re not sure about taking something, ask first. Give a little, take a little, keep it fair.
8. Consent matters, even in jokes.
We’re all here for laughs, but fun shouldn’t come at someone else’s expense. If a joke, meme, or comment makes someone uncomfortable, drop it and move on. Respect boundaries like you respect weekly raid lockouts.
9. Support each other.
Cheer for sprouts finishing their MSQ. Celebrate that one rare mount drop. Encourage each other when someone’s learning new content. A little hype goes a long way — and makes our FC feel like home.
